Solid Waste Removal
The City Council adopted Resolution 21-2; a resolution establishing rules and regulations regarding solid waste within the city limits at the regular council meeting July 12, 2021. Beginning on August 3, Gunn's Disposal of Blue Rapids will be collecting all residential solid waste within the city limits of Waterville. Pick up will be every Tuesday morning each week. The fee will be $20.50 and will be billed each month on all residential customers utility bills. Resolution 21-2 is posted on this site.
The City of Waterville received a Waste Tire Grant from Kansas Department of Health and Environment. It was used to update our playground from sand/gravel to a safer and better looking rubber mulch. Now that the rain has stopped the kids are loving it!
Apprentice Lineman
The City of Waterville is seeking an energetic, innovative individual for the position of apprentice lineman.
There will be a public interest meeting at Lake Idlewild on October 10th and October 17th at 10:30 a.m. If you are interested in making our lake great again please come share your interest and ideas with us!
