The City of Waterville is seeking an energetic, innovative individual for the position of apprentice lineman. This is a fulltime position and requires maintenance of equipment used by the city’s distribution system, including skilled work in construction and maintenance of the electrical system. The ideal applicant must be safety minded and willing to work after hours. Assistance in other City departments such as water, wastewater, roads, and infrastructure will be required as needed. Applicant will be required to complete the Kansas Municipal Utilities apprenticeship program. Must be at least 18 years of age. Starting salary based on experience. Excellent benefits.
