Annual Pool Glow Party!

The swimming pool will have a glow party August 17. Admission will be $5 and include a free glow item.

Infant - 6th grade hours will be 8-10 p.m. Preschool children must be accompanied by an adult.

Children 7th grade to 12th grade will start at 10:00 p.m. and finish at midnight.

Planned Power Outage - June 12, 9:00 p.m.

A planned power outage will take place in Waterville on Wednesday, June 12, starting at 9:00 p.m. and lasting approximately ten minutes.

This outage will be for all Waterville electric customers and due to Westar line work.

The times stated for this planned outage are based on the best information we have available at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Filing Deadline to Register for Local Public Office is June 3

The filing deadline for local office candidates is June 3 at noon. You are required to file with the county clerk and pay the filing fee of $20. Dates for the 2019 local elections are June 3, final date to file for local office; August 6, the primary for local elections; and November 5 will be the general election.

The three council member positions will be expiring the second Monday in January of 2020 following the certification of the election.

The Families First of Marshall County are selling raffle tickets to win your child, a child you know, or teacher/school staff, a ride on the last day of school in a Police or Fire Truck!
