The Chamber of Commerce has lined up city wide garage sales for May 5-6 this week. Maps of locations will be available at each sale. The weather looks nice for these days, get out and find a bargain!

Waterville City Wide Clean-Up April 29

Clean out your garage and yards! Waterville will be having a city wide clean-up day April 29, 2017.

Curb side pickup will be available 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Marshall County Landfill will also be free for individuals the same day, and also on April 27. For more information call 785-541-0081.

Items that will be hauled off are trash, brush, scrap metal, and other unwanted items. There will be no tire disposal this year.

Now Accepting Applications for Water/Wastewater Operator

The City of Waterville is accepting applications for a full time Water/Wastewater Operator. Applicant must have Class I Certification or willing to obtain certification. The position will work in electric, streets, facility maintenance and any other assigned duties. Position requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED. Wages based on qualifications. Applications are available at the City Office, 136 E. Commercial Street, or under the News & Information tab on this site under Forms. EOE

The City of Waterville is accepting sealed bids at the City Office until 4:00 p.m., April 10, 2017 for repairs at the Ambulance Shed and Park Shelter House. Scope of work may been viewed at the City Office, 136 E. Commercial Street. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
