The swimming pool will have a glow party August 17. Admission will be $5 and include a free glow item.

Infant - 6th grade hours will be 8-10 p.m. Preschool children must be accompanied by an adult.

Children 7th grade to 12th grade will start at 10:00 p.m. and finish at midnight.

A planned power outage will take place in Waterville on Wednesday, June 12, starting at 9:00 p.m. and lasting approximately ten minutes.

This outage will be for all Waterville electric customers and due to Westar line work.

The filing deadline for local office candidates is June 3 at noon. You are required to file with the county clerk and pay the filing fee of $20. Dates for the 2019 local elections are June 3, final date to file for local office; August 6, the primary for local elections; and November 5 will be the general election.

The three council member positions will be expiring the second Monday in January of 2020 following the certification of the election.
