Sidewalk Improvement Plan

The Mayor and City Council accepted the following plan to improve sidewalks within the city limits of Waterville. Please contact Nori at the city office if you would like to be placed on the list for participation.

City of Waterville, Kansas - Sidewalk Improvement Plan

The City of Waterville will provide funds to replace sidewalks at the request of a property owner.

The cost will be funded by the City and placed on the property owners tax roll to be paid over five equal annual installments with no interest.

The maximum annual expenditure of the City will be $10,000.00.

The maximum footage per property owner per year will be 66 feet. Any work in excess must be approved by the council.

The City Clerk will maintain a list of property owners who request participation.

Work will be done on a first come - first serve basis.

This plan will be subject to annual city budget limitations and may be discontinued by the City at any time.

The City may refuse to accept any project that it deems in its own discretion to require too great of an expenditure on the city's part.
