Dog and cat tags are now available at the City Office and must be purchased by April 1, 2015 to avoid a penalty. Tags are $3.00 if the pet is spayed or neutered and $5.00 if they are not. Please bring proof of rabies vaccination with you for registration.

Westar Energy will be replacing poles on Tuesday, February 24. There will be a power interruption for Waterville customers that morning around 5:00 a.m. that should last for approximately five minutes.

The Waterville Fire Department is beginning another Gun Raffle! This raffle will be a 30/30/30 - 30 guns in 30 minutes $30 a ticket! The drawing will take place during the 2015 Annual Fire Department Smoke Off held in September each year. A flyer for this event is found on this site under News & Information - Forms. Net proceeds will go toward the new fire house building.

In the fall of 2014 and/or 2015, the City of Waterville intends to make application to the Kansas Department of Commerce for Community Development Block Grant funding.  Grant funds, if received, could be used for community improvement projects including, but not limited to water distribution improvement, sewer system repair, street repair, and renovations to the downtown business area. If the City is able to access grant funds, these funds may allow the City to make needed community improvements without substantial increases in local taxes or water and sewer rates.

The Waterville Chamber of Commerce is hoping all citizens and businesses can work together for the betterment of Waterville.

The Waterville City Dump is located at the west end of Walnut Street and is available to all residents. Acceptable items include tree debris, garden debris, lawn debris, and clean boards. No trash or pallets are allowed. Please remember to close the gate when you are finished!
